It is extremely rare and quite aggressive.I know because I had fibrohistiocytoma sarcoma of the middle finger in 1991. Given only a year to live, my whole hand was amputated with no chemo or radiation given, I approached this in rapid fashion. i am alive today due to quick action of my doctors and the good Lord watching over me. The cancer metatasized in my lungs, but were not given any treatment, but prayer for 3 months. 18 years later i'm proud to say I'm a cancer survivor. Finger cancer is out there. You should ask the doctor to do a Lab test or something about it. You have to find out what are those before it's too late. Moreover that is you middle finger!
